Death of a Beloved Co-worker
All day I've felt like I have knots in my stomach and so do many of the other guards especially those who worked with him in the same section. He was highly regardly, admired and respected. We still don't know what he died from but he leaves behind his wife and adult daughter. Hopefully when his wife calls the dispatch office they will post the information regarding his wake and/or funeral so some of us can attend or send cards and flowers.
He was just a quiet, reserved Black man who did his job and expected nothing in return but little did he know the impact he had on those of us who were Blessed to work with him.
Good Bye Clarence and Rest in Peace. Section I will never be the same without you. We miss you and will remember you always.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 (New International Version)
7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day
I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your colleague Sister DeBorah. I know it can't be easy for you or the rest of the people you work with, but I pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort you all with His love and peace as well as Mr. Clarence's family, friends, and loved ones. I pray that his soul is resting in peace.
