Singer, actress Jennifer Hudson will be taking on a real dramatic role of Winnie Mandela in the upcoming movie Winnie Mandela: A Life. The movie is based on a book with the same title. The movie’s director Darrell J. Roodt who also directed the movie Cry, the Beloved Country is excited by it’s a wonderful exhibition. The film will be on location in Africa and the project is set for filming by May 2010. Hudson is stated as saying: “ I was compelled and moved when I read the script…” Many movie critics and moviegoers are wondering if the Oscar winner Ms. Hudson can actually take on such a role of a outstanding character of a dramatic woman. Hudson received her Oscar of Best Supporting Actress from the movie Dreamgirls. She may have her work in store, however feeling confident the actress has been noted to draw quite an audience and she’s proven to many she can “Walk the walk, as well as talk the talk.” Since filming hasn’t begun yet a release date of the movie hasn’t been announced.
