Product Promotion

Most of us are here promoting our services and/or product, and in the process building relationships. With that said every service/product is not for everyone. It is like putting your product in a superstore such as Wal-mart, products in the store range from small to large, and prices range from inexpensive to pricey. We understand that no matter what the cost of our product it doesn't mean that everyone that comes to the store is going to purchase it even if it is affordable, nor does it mean that we are not going to purchase a product that we need or want by another vendor because they are not purchasing ours because they don't need or want it. As this would be like "biting off your noise to spite your face". We should remember just because I go into Wal-mart and don't purchase that HD Television that they have on sale for a reasonable price doesn't mean that I won't tell my friend about the great deal as I know this is exactly what they have been looking for. So, you see your market is not just the people you might meet here, but the people that they know. So, just because your friends are not personally making purchases from you doesn't mean that they haven't referred a friend. Maybe we should focus more on building relationship, which in turn can go a long way in selling your product/service. As maybe we should not be here for a sale, but maybe we can offer another support. If you can provide someone with information that might help them be a better business person, that doesn't infringe on what you do as a business don't be afraid to provide them with input. You never know what this might do for your business in the long term. Don't do it because you want something in return, do it because it is from the heart.
