My book, Birds Of A Feather, Secret'z Untold is loosely based on my own family and is about women who maintain secrets about events that took place in the family which include: infidelity, incest and refusal of women to disclose the names of their children's father even though they know who he is. After persuading some in the family to reveal what they know and through some research of my own, I discover my own identity is held hostage which starts me on a journey of self-discovery. There's one thing about family, you can't pick them. However, you can learn to live and love them even when your ideologies are opposite ends of the spectrum.
