Measuring Cup

...But when they measure themselves by one another, and compare themselves with one another, they do not show good sense., 2 Corinthians 10:12...like apples and oranges, people were never meant...to be compared...looks, gender or what intellectually we've got going on upstairs. For we were all created with a specific purpose...wired with unique and original circuits...so why worry about trying to duplicate someone else's likeness or purpose. Stop wasting time trying to change what Christ died for, to made perfect...envying others, serves absolutely no purpose. But to separate us from God...the One who loves us just as we are. Made in the image and likeness of Him...yet we measure ourselves up against them...mortal women and men. Yes, we've all fallen short of the Glory of God. So doesn't it make sense to be satisfied with who you are?

Father if it be your will...take this measuring cup away from me,
