Are There Any Good Black Women Left???

We often hear the question "Are There Any Good Black Men Left?". Well I'm asking... Are There Any Good Women Left? Are these women posing the question Are There Any Good Men... Good Women? We may still be unclear on exactly what a "Good Man" is... attractive, physically fit, gainfully employed, no baby mama drama, intelligent, good sense of humor, etc??? Well let's turn the question around!

Are the women asking this question attractive women? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I can't answer this question without bias; however, most attractive women are hot commodities.

Are the women physically fit? Time has an effect on our bodies... and let's face it... none of us are getting any younger. As women get older there body doesn't bounce bacck like it use to after having a baby. Something I heard on the radio, I'm not sure if it's tue... is that a lot of black women don't go to the gym!

Are the women gainfully employed? Today, there are a large amount of women that are going to college, pursuing a career and holding it down on there own. However, there are still women that are caught up in the system or use men as a source of income. These women would also be considered a hot commodity.

Do these women have baby daddy drama? If women are concerned about a man having baby mama drama... that means we have to be concerned about baby daddy drama... sometimes multiple baby daddy drama. As I am approaching 40 I find it more difficult to find a woman with no children or maybe just one.

Black women out number black men approximately 100 to 87. So let's say out of the 87 men 20 are in relationships, 20 are in jail, 20 are "No Good" 20 are "Undateable" and 6 are gay. That would leave 1 good man out of 87. Now... on the other hand out of the 100 women 25 are in relationships, 20 have multiple baby daddy drama, 20 are "Undateable", 20 are caught up in the system and 14 are gay. That would leave one good woman. Now what are the odds of the one good man finding the one good woman? Pretty slim I would say... I think it's time we all adjust our standards... But that's just Trey's Opinion!

Trey, I couldn't agree with you more. I always ask myself, what is a good man? what is a good woman? As a woman, and I speak for myself, I think you have to first look inside you and see if you are happy with that person , and, I believe most of us aren't so we begin looking for someone to make us happy. There are enough men and women to go around, but we just have to stop looking at the outside qualities and sometimes try looking on the inside of someone. But again first you have to love yourself and enjoy you every day and don't look for someone to fill that emptiness in you.

Here we go again, just the other night I gave a black man who seemed nice with kids and ended up having baby mama drama that night and was overweight! I am proportionately thick to height solid, NO KIDS, have my own place, car, occupation, in school, and when I was downsized began freelance projects. And yes I am picky selective, an been called "Different" from alot of stereotypical women meaning I dont fit it.

This is what I posted on blackplanet.
FROM MY EXPERIENCE WHEN BLACK MEN GET WHAT IS A GOOD BLACK WOMAN AND I WOULD CALL MYSELF THAT, THEY DONT APPRECIATE IT UNTIL THEY CANT GET HER.

Brothers need to work it out

The whole black man and black woman disrespect has gotten out of hand but I will tell you my version of my I am single and what I'm looking for and what my frustrations are about brothas.
Many black men on here make negative generalizations about black women saying thats why they go to white women but black women can date white and other races just as well! But I dont want to make this about race. Im just tired of the disrespect.
No disrespect to anyone but In my opinion, all these men who use this line "where the real women" if you are not a real man how can you ask for a real woman? I am definitely open to dating other races myself.
I have been asked this question obviously more than just a few times... Why am I single? \ It seem like everybody I hear talking is always talking bout the same thing or got to be dating somebody, sleepin with somebody, sneakin with somebody, whatever. ? Please dont send me notes with a line asking to take on a shopping spree (If your agenda is me being your s*x toy to creep) PLEASE. WE ARENT ALL THE SAME! At least I'm not. I respect myself, pay my own bills, have my own. I feel that if a man's agenda is mainly s*x, its a waste of my time. If a man is looking for someone to take care of him, that is a waste of my time. If a man doesn't respect me, that's a waste of my time. I have dated and have met maybe some good hearted people but we arent ready at the same time or they didnt take time to get to know me. For example, a man expecting s*x because he took me out to dinner a couple times. if it was meant to happen it would have maybe. A man texting nasty obscene text messages of perversion and doesn't even know me! That's a huge turn off. I admit I' m not ghettofabulous and many are intimidated because I have some standards but I have a heart and some people may try to get over on me or dont appreciate it. I have always been kind of deep and unique and I think that some people don't know how to take you when you don't act like everybody else! I have never been into thugs, players, ballers, any of that. We arent all the same!
All I'm saying is that for myself and I cant speak for all women but good women like myself, would be more than willing to work with you if you treated us the way we deserve. I can only speak for good women like myself!

I am sick and tired of black men who main desire is s*x, or playing games, or being shady, or baby daddys and since I dont like thugs, professionals who turn out shady.
