Planning a show from the Record Executive perspective

People have asked me about doing shows, and I tell them that it's not easy. There are so many variables that you must stay on top of and some that are out of your control.
First, is picking a venue that you want to showcase your artist in and one that's comfortable for your audience. Next, is a date that a well known artist isn't performing on that will make it harder for you to attract an audience. The weather is the one element that you can't control, so you pray for great weather. Followed by, your artist being in great voice, and you picking good music for him/her to perform that night for your audience. Last, is getting an audience for your artist to perform in front of. This is paramount. Hopefully, people come out looking to hear great music and to be entertain. The Artist needs/wants the support of the audience.
Come out and show your support for Desi (www.cloutent.com) at Feinstein's in NYC on August 28th at 8:30pm. Call 212 339-4095 and order your tickets.
