Hi - Sorry to hear this has happened to you. You've probably told this story a thousand times, but where are they getting you 'walked out' from? Sounds worthy of an investigation to me... You've already began the appeals process, good for you! Is the appeal through an attorney or the unemployment dept.? Either way, and from whatever happened, your previous employer may figure that the unemployment dept. frowns on paying out to people that 'quit'. Of course, this may not be the truth in your case, but if you haven't already done so, document, document, document. Write down everything that transpired before they fired you or you quit or whatever happened. Hopefully the appeals process will grant an investigation to uncover the truth. Good luck to you!
