My supervisor

Shalayda Laws · Thursday, June 11th 2009 at 4:52AM · 107 views
I asked my supervisor for a few days off and she denied my request becuase there is no one to cover my shift. But I work the shift alone and its that her responsiblity to find someone to cover the shift. She keep giving one my co worker time off everytme I turn around. I beleieve its favoritism. Since the beginning of the year I been out once due to me being sick and call off once because the power went out in apartment due to a storm. I had 1 schedule vacation day off but she made me cover another day in order for me to get the schedule vacation day off. Im wrong for going over her head to her supervisor.

Yes & No... and I say this as a caution because you don't want to make your life worse on the job with the supervisor especially if she has a pal type relationship w/ the director. Many times these managers and supervisors go out together and visit one another's homes so you need to be wise. If I were you, I think you should call sick instead of going through the hassles she's putting you thru. She'll be forced to find a replacement.
