Life AFTER the Down Low
I recently completed my first novel entitled, "Life AFTER the Down Low," www.lifeafterthedownlow.com. It chronicles my life as the ex-wife of an undercover homos*xual and accused pedophile. Subsequently, I was chatting with a group on another site and I noticed that many people would rather turn a deaf ear than to really face the reality that this is an issue plaguing our culture. I mean...Black women have the highest rate of HIV/AIDs among any ethnic group (except Black men) due to high-risk heteros*xual relationships (namely the DL). What are we afraid of? Why does this become a topic of discussion every 4 years only to fade away as if this doesn't exist? This issue is real. The spirit of deception is real.
