Dream Big for Personal Growth
Dream big. Set your goals so high that you have no idea how to achieve them. It is only then that you will grow. You will be forced to learn new skills, build new relationships and explore new thoughts. When you set easily achievable goals you can usually rely on the knowledge you already have to reach them. Setting easily achievable goals keeps you in a state of stagnation. It is only through continual personal growth that we can reach our true purpose.
How do I achieve my dream if I don't know how?
1. Think about how your dream will effect your life. How does it effect your family, you career and your relationships (including the relationship you have with you inner self).
2. Decide the area of your life within which you need to take action. Undeniably, the achievement of your dream will effect all areas of your life, but you must determine which area of your life is requesting the immediate call to action. Will you need to change your career? Find new understanding or compromise in you personal relationships? Decide where action is required.
3. Take action and set goals. Your first action step may be in the form of research. Find out what and who is available to help you achieve your dream. Then, set a series of goals that will help you gain access to these resources.
Once you have broken your dream down in this manner, "the how" will begin to reveal itself, but you have to believe that it will and follow your instincts. Remember, your instincts are always aligned with your inner desires. Stay focused on what you want, feel good doing it and take action where needed. Do this and you will achieve your dreams, no matter how big or illusive they may seem.
