Anyone else in love with passionate old school?

To change the tune from the intense and stress of some of my other blogs, I am insomniac tonite or this morning and wanna talk about a passion of mine and thats music! When I was like 10 through 13 I would tape videos on BET from Video soul with Donnie Simpson then another video thing called Jukebox Network. I am proud of the old vhs tapes that have been converted to DVD. I have all kinds of motown shows, soul train awards, etc and things I taped from late 80's and 90's. Yeah I have an old school to be just turning 31.

Tonite I drove home from my family's house late and I was tired of waiting for a reason to listen the romantic songs I am passionate about. I was tired of waiting for the Prince or Princess charming friends to give me a reason to listen to what I want. Sometimes one friend who cares about you, treats you with respect and is there for you to show you a nice time and help you relax, may not be the type you want to listen to them songs and feel all passionate and s*xy about...oh well..thats one blessing, the rest will come another time I guess.

In the car I enjoyed my mixed CD of songs like "Good Love" by Anita Baker, "I got love on my mind" by Natalie cole, "I live for your love" by Natalie Cole, "I feel good all over by Stephanie Mills "Cruisin" by Smokey Robinson "If only for one nite" Luther Vandross, and "Stay with me" by Debarge
"Baby be mine" by Miki Howard "Angel' by "Angela Winbush "Nite and Day" Al B Sure
and alot more Im too tired to name right now

What happened to REAL MUSIC and REAL SINGERS?

It bothers me that now everything is about chris, rhiana, plies (thats just plain yuck), lil wayne, beyonce, etc...why? everything is about drama kings and queens and who can be the most ghettofabulous, why???

Leela James had a song in 2006 asking what happened to the "MUSIC".
