Manuvering and Managing The Workplace

Second in this Series---Another issue of major concern for professional women and as a woman in general is nuturing. As a professional who is at a "questionable age" (so I have been told) given the level of responsibility I have, I find myself guiding and pouring into women older than I. How do you strike that balance of showing them respect but at the same time being respected? I find my colleagues/employees wanting to "hang out" or get into "the business," and even ignoring or bluring the lines of supervisor and employee.

As a woman I have an inate sense of wanting to nuture those around me. Where is the line drawn in the sand but at the same time bringing out the best in others. I find that I take on many roles during the course of a day, cheerleader, coach, counselor all around nuturer.

Lord have Mercy, I thought I was the only one who felt this way.
