Will you take your own advice?
When on the outside looking in, it is easy to give advice and make suggestions to friends and family members about their relationships and children. It's easy to say "girl, you need to _______" or "girl if I was you, I would _________." How is it that people know what someone else should or shouldn't do, but have such a hard time when it comes to themselves? How many times have you advised someone and found yourself in the same situation and did something different? If you won't take your own advice, why should someone else?
I agree completely with this. I ask myself these questions all the time. Why is it so easy for people to pick out the flaws in you relationship but can't seem to do the same for themselves.
