Excellent post..........
You are absolutely right. If we took at least half of the time and effort we put into getting to know others and know and love "self", we would find at the end of the day that when all is great with "self" greatness comes. I've always enjoyed the time I put into knowing and loving "Shay" and this is a great blessing for me because I'm not only able to love others, but I can also build great friendships and relationships because "Shay" is content w/ "Shay".
Great post!
"I think therefore I am"is the famous saying. I am so special (unique) until there will never be another one of me, and even better, I am a different person each day. I wake up to the new day so exicited and ready to learn something new.
I guess by now you have gotten the idea that I am a very happy and content person(smile) And, thanks for the post Hiawatha,

Interesting. I have always kept a journal. I got married about 5 years ago and stopped some of the things that made me who I was. Then I became who I am now. However it was not who I wanted to be. In the last few months I have come alive and started to be me! I have been spending time doing things important. I responded to this blog, because you are the only other individual who refers to it as the "Idiot Box" I laughed when I saw that. I said, someone else knows it also. I wanted to say, I read this and thought there is something here for me to take from it! I know what it is when will I start to do it! I have been lead so many times to it, but I have been doing nothing when I get there. I love food for thought, hopefully I will start to feed myself real food!
