2nd Annual Fakoly Dance & Drum Project Hosted By:

Fode will be accompanied by Master Dancers Youssouf Koumbassa, Mamady Sano,
and Marietou Camara as well as Master Drummers Mohammed Camara,
Aboubacar Kouyate and Mangue Sylla.
This is a unique opportunity to study and perform along side some of the most famous names in African rhythm and movement.
The workshop includes daily dance and drum classes taught by Master
Drummers and Dancers of Guinea West Africa that will culminate in a
public performance with participants and artists Saturday evening May
2nd at Sabathani Community Center and classes will focus on a specific
drum piece or choreography for Saturday's performance unless otherwise
noted. Participants have the option of taking class and not
participating in Saturday's show.
Please note attendance of at least 4 of the same class and the tech rehearsal is mandatory for inclusion in the performance.
