Is it too late to start over?

Is it too late to start over?

I am a 36 year old Language Arts Middle school teacher. I like my job, but I don't love it, anymore. The problem is, I don't know where to go from here. At one time I wanted to be a motivational speaker for teenage girls, but that seems to be too far fetched. I have started 3 different books, but I have NOT finished any of them. So what do I do now?. I have prayed and asked God to lead me down his path he has set for me. But you know how we are, I am impatient and I want answers now. Anyone else out there feel like I do.

I can relate. I'm in education also and I'masking God the same thing. However, you do have to wait. He will tell you what to do. In the mean time, keep teaching until he tells you to stop. Also, continue on with those books, he might want you to do that.

Hi Simone, you are definitely not alone. I feel the same way and I also like instant gratification which I know is not always possible. Why can't you be a motivational speaker for teenage girls?? You absolutely CAN do that and if you want to be it, do it girl. Get yourself some business cards from Vistaprint.com (very affordable, sometimes free, you just pay shipping $6) and maybe contact your local churches to see if maybe after a ceremony, you can provide leadership to the young woman of the parish. Then you go from there. You're smart and saavy because you came up with the idea. Put some thought into it and I'll bet you'll make it happen!!

Samone, it's never to start over.. Remember to Stand Up, Step Up and Step Right into your destiny that GOD intended for you to have more..

Hi, I guess I'm not the only one with these feelings. I'm 40 and just starting a career. I've had plenty of JOBS that paid just as well as some careers, however, I have to live this life and I want to live it to the fullest. I want to have passion behind what I'm doing everyday and hopefully have some form of GOOD or GREAT impact on other lives as well as my own. Keep me in your prayers, the devil and his people are trying the take my joy.

It's a problem if You don't know what your passion is! why not write a list of the things you have done, and the things you wish you could do. Take the wish list and add the tenets of "The Law of Attraction in Action." Be mindful, of the anwers to your prayers--live right and do for others--God doesn't just give you things that would be taking away your free agency. "Ask and you shall receive". Expect the favor and the blessings, stay joyful and don't fret--put your cares in a "God Box" ( blogged on that this past summmer--you can read about -it's and educator who wrote the book--click on all my blogs and scroll until you find it--you willl be just fine!! :-)

You look deep inside yourself and God will direct you where you should go. Or has he already did so??? And you are to afraid to get out of your confort zone. I know it's hard, but trust that God will never leave you or forsake you, but direct your every path. Be Blessed and do what God has called you to do!! It's so many young ladies that need to hear your words.
