Help Me Find Joy Where I am!

Well Sweetheart let ask you this, Where does God fit in your life? Is He just there when you need Him? Is He someone you call on a daily basis or only when you need Him? We sometimes get caught up in OUR lives and the things we want and the things we feel that we need. We don't stop and ask for direction, Lord what is it you have for me to do? For everything happens for a reason, the good the bad and the ugly. Look beyond where you are and look at the bigger picture. Seek God in all that you do, without Him nothing is possible and with Him all things become possible. There comes a time in everyone's life that God will give or take away, that may be things or people. If He has set you in a place where you feel alone, then He is probably trying to get your attention and asking for some one on one time with Him. I can only use myself for the best example, I lived in the big city of NY all my life and one day an opportunity came for me to leave that big city and go south which is the total opposite of what I was used to. When I went south I tried to continue my lifestyle that I carried in the north, it did not work that way. God separated me from people and things to get my attention and to show me a different way of living. Thank God for change, the road I was on was broad and I was on a slow fall to hell. Until one day I asked and He showed me that His grace was sufficent for me and turned my life around. Seek God and His wisdom and you will find the answer. We will give you many different answers, but the one with the true and final answer is God. I pray Gods blessings on you and that you may find that what your are seeking for. Don't allow the enemy to come in and play mind games, this is his way of tricking you. Remember God said, If you keep your mind on Him, He will keep you in perfect peace.

Jesus is the answer

The one thing I didn't see in your blog was anything about your relationship with GOD. Building a relationship with HIM will open doors that you never knew existed. Does your husband know you're unhappy? Share that with him too. There are a million ways to move forward. None of it will work, unless you put HIM first, read your Bible and pray. Include your husband in some of those prayers - he wants you happy too. You know where two or more are gathered, HE'S there in the midst. There are so many bad situations you could find yourself in. If you've recognized that you've been blessed, thank HIM and then trust GOD to show you the way to go and take a bold step in that direction. HE will never fail you.

My heart and prayers are with you Sister. I had to cope with the opposite challenge...moving from a small town to the big city...which is equally challenging. It took me quite some time to adjust to the culture of city life which I found unfriendly. I suppose people you don't know wanting to hold conversations might be a frighting thing at times, but just give yourself some time as moving is a major adjustment in itself. I hope you will keep in touch with your friends and family from the city and lean on them for support while you adjust. If you find the change too much for you, then speak with your husband about it to let him know how you are feeling. Much love to you (smiles).
