If you have something positve to add to a teen aged girls life, please write it.I am in need of some comments from strong, black women who have indured hardships. We need to let them know that just because you've been through some things doesn't mean you don't matter. They need to know that those lips they don't like or that forehead they hate has been specially made just for them.Embrace it !!! Love you.If you don't, no one else truly will.

I would say to any teen-aged black female, embrace who you are. We are a beautiful people and other nationalities try to model many things off of us. They perm their hair so it will curl up, are putting needles in their lips to try to make them fuller, go to doctors so they can have the big butts and full breasts. They may never correctly portray us correctly in the Bible, but MANY of those women were one of us. When I go to work, they resist us as much as they can because we know our stuff, they try to undermindus and you can always catch them staring at you. Work hard to get your education and hold your head high no matter what you hear. Represent us with pride, determined to succeed. Use the Word as your sword and education as your shield. Never let anyone tell you that you can't succeed . Yes, you can!

I agree, because somehow when you know your issue is going to end up positive, when God is involved, then it is much easier for them to deal with it.Speaking from experience,I know that it was a blessing in disguise.A lesson to a blessing.I am stronger for it and I can now pass my knowledge on to my sistas. Thanks so much !!I could use your positive words of wisdom on my website blog. The address is Expressandbless.ning.com.Please share !!
