Hello Chartrice: my children go to charter schools here in Memphis, and I must say I have been happier with them in charter schools than in public school. I have a daughter graduating this year, and she already has a couple of college credits, so will my daughter who is graduating the following year. My six year old son will go to charter school next year, I tried public school with him it's just not working out. I hope this helps some. The size of the classes are much smaller, they have newer books, and then they get public sponsorship which is why they have the new text books. They get funding other than what the state gives you.

Good Morning! I used to get regular e-mails from the Asociation of Charter Schools regularly..I would contact a similar or organizaiton, or simply google it to get started, and go specific for--(your state) if it's allowed, or I would simply call a few and get a referral. If you have a specific question, you can e-mail me..Happy finding!! If you need a specific answer e-mail me, two of mine when to Charter school for a year, great concept and Nevada was early on-- in its involvement. Best to you!
