My Christmas Came Early

I was singing with the choir on Sunday and our director was telling us to ask God for a special word or visit from Him during this holiday season. Our "Christmas moment." I got mine during a song where we sing the following chorus:

Get up and go find your promise
Leave everything behind
Sorrow and mourning are over
Its celebration time
Sin will not rule any longer
God's love and grace now abound
Things aren't going to be
the way that they've been anymore
A King is coming to town

When we got to "things aren't going to be the way that they've been anymore" , tears filled my eyes because I heard that as my promise. That God hadn't forgotten about me, that He loves me and He is bringing about change on my behalf. What a blessing! I was flooded with what the Bible calls "Peace that passes all understanding."

That alone was cause for celebration, but then later this week I got an unexpected raise on my job. My dream job, that I've only been doing since mid-November. Is that a miracle or not??

I know that God loves me, and the same God is loving each of you just the way that you need. Blessings my friends, keep watching for Him. And receive your "Christmas moment."
