Quiana,
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your dear sweet brother. Oh my sister, my heart and prayers go out to you and your entire family especially the wife and sweet little girls that are left to grow up without their father. It is such a sad and unexpected thing. I will say that you shouldn't feel guilty about mourning the loss of your love one. God isn't expecting you to be a superwoman, but He knows that you are human. Grieving is a part of being human. Even Jesus wept when at the tomb of Lazarus. Weeping is a part of being human and you shouldn't feel bad at all or as if you aren't suppose to cry. The bible says that we have a high priest who has felt the feelings of our infirmities and in all points he was (also) touched like we were. This means that Jesus felt what we feel. Remember when He was teaching on the mount and He gave what is called the Beatitudes? He says blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. If Jesus expected us not to mourn, then He wouldn't said that mourners would be comforted.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Hebrews 5:7 During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.
Wow Doc. I am sorry to hear that you lost a child. No parent should ever have to bury their children. God bless you sister.
Quiana, sistah, be strong and put your faith in God whom you know will get you through. Your brother is with you. You now have your own personal Angel who will walk with you, comfort you, and help you find solace. One day very soon you will have nothing but pleasant thoughts when you think of him. Just hold on. Lean on your faith in the father. All will be well. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Quiana, if you have noticed both of these ladies have mentioned the Comforter, it's true Beloved ! You have our prayers.
Also, thank- you Jen, I would not have made it through without the Comforter that God promised to help me.

I know there is much pain right now in the passing of your love one, and I feel your pain too.
Last year I lost my beautiful daughter that was only 27.
There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of her.
I can tell you from my own experience that it does get better, and although the pain will remain every time you think of him, the pain will get easier to take in time.
God sends a Comforter to help you through it all. Please believe this !
I will pray for you and your family that you find peace through the love that God sends to you !
