What if McCain were Black, would the white Republicans vote for him? (1328 hits)
You know me, plain, simple and to the point. I was just wondering. What if McCain were a black man, would the white republicans vote for him? I had this conversation with a few of my friends tonight. Wouldn't it be the test of all times if a black republican ran for president. I am looking forward to the day! If this were to happen, we would know if they were true Republicans, or just racist rednecks, voting based on color alone, don't you think? I am willing to bet everything that they will switch to the democratic party ASAP, if the democratic candidate were white. I can talk, after all, I have stuck with my party through thick and thin. What if???? Wow, wouldn't that be deep.
Absolutely NOT! First of all, the Republicans believe unwaveringly in selecting "OREO" cookies. So that all the Republicans would be put on immediate notice that any black candidate is an "Oreo" by legend, history, tradition. Thus, skip over him and keep the white folks in office and the "Oreo" for needed snacks. Sorry.
