MANY OF US DON'T GET THE ONE THING WE WANT MOST IN OUR PERSONAL LIVES.
SOME OF US DREAM OF A HUSBAND'S LOVE AND DON'T HAVE IT, SOME DESIRE CHILDREN AND DON'T HAVE THEM.
ONE OF THE GREATEST CHALLENGES IN LIFE IS TOO ACCEPT THE COMPENSATIONS GOD GIVES AND, THROUGH CHRIST, LIVE IN FAITH AND WITHOUT ENVY, EVEN WHEN WE DON'T GET WHAT WE DESIRE MOST DEEPLY.
This hit home for me. The one thing that I've been praying and asking God for for many years, He still hasn't given to me. But He greatly blesses me in other areas. This made me become bitter and very resentful towards God. I'm now trying to find peace in God's plan and His timing. I know that He would not withhold a good thing from me and that He has sooo many blessings in store for me. But sometimes I still struggle with it.
