Appeal To All Here: Take Your Health Seriously!
Hello everyone. I am just sharing with you something very near and dear to my heart and that is about African & African American people's health issues. Do you know today one of the people I met is flying back home to her country to bury her young husband because he didn't know he had High Blood Pressure? This young lady is in her late 20's and has a 5 month old baby; she is now a widow and her son is fatherless.
In June a former church member died of a brain aneurysm because she didn't know she had High Blood Pressure either. She left a 6 yr old and a 3 yr old to be cared for by her young husband. This couple was just shy of their 8th wedding anniversary.
Let's take our health a little more seriously if we aren't already doing so. The death's of the people I mentioned were preventable as well as treatable illnesses. Both people were in their early 30's.

A-men to that sistah! I couldn't agree with you more. As a health care professional, I don't mess around with healh issues.
