Is it because your afraid of how you may look amongst other’s?
Is it that you don’t want people to find out that we actually love one another?
What’s stopping you from opening up to me completely?
What makes it so hard for you to genuinely tell me that you need or want me?
You put on this façade as if I’m just one of your friends
And everytime we argue it seems I’m the first that always has to make amends
I pray for your deliverance and hope to god that you make it over this emotional block
But don’t think for one second I’m gonna just sit here and allow my life to tick away with the clock
You don’t acknowledge my help and act as if the world is always on your shoulders
Maybe it would be better if we parted ways and allowed eachother to grow mentally and physically older
This whole ordeal has put a lot of frustration, pain, and anger in our lives and hearts
And it doesn’t help that you weren’t honest with me from the start
I left the past in the past but lord sweetheart what more has to happen for you to see
All I’m asking is that you get over yourself, and start learning how to love me
I’m neither her, nor her so don’t give me that excuse about your not being used to me
It’s been 2 years now, how much more used to is it gonna take for you to get used to me
You know how I operate; you know exactly what I want
You keep telling me your changing but I feel as though it’s all just a big front
If you only understood that i need you and not the person you claimed to be
I want the vulnerable, loving, emotional, person that you told me you could be
Your acting quite un-human and I don’t know how much of this I can bare
I don’t know what else to do, seems like you don’t want me to fight anymore or care
