HOW NAMI-BALTIMORE IS LISTENING TO COLLEGE STUDENTS OCTOBER 6 - OCTOBER 10, 2020! (2329 hits)

For Immediate Release From NAMI-Baltimore!

The message of the I Will Listen Campaign is simple: Listening - with an open mind, and without judgement - can be one of the most powerful ways to support someone facing mental health challenges.

As college students are returning with a semester of remote learning, we have planned the first-ever virtual I Will Listen campaign week, including but not limited to the below online events:

Hear Our Voices: Personal Stories of Mental Health
Hear from three individuals about the challenges and triumphs of living with a mental health condition.

Writing for My Sanity: Therapeutic Writing Workshop
Led by Life Transition Coach and Mental Health Advocate, Melony Hill. In this non-judgmental space, students will complete therapeutic writing prompts and engage in conversation about life’s challenges.

Flourishing: Positive Mental Health Practices to Help You Thrive
Presented and sponsored by Under Armour, this interactive workshop is designed to help you achieve greater fulfillment in your life.

Check out our full roster of online events happening NOW through October 10, 2020, here: https://iwilllisten.namibaltimore.org/even...

We've also launched our new website: iwilllisten.namibaltimore.org. On this interactive site, you will learn about the importance of listening, have the chance to test your listening skills, and find resources and help. There, you can also take the pledge to listen.
