The Dallas-Ft. Worth Alumni Chapter of the Clark Atlanta University National Alumni Association, Inc. organizes an annual capital campaign to raise funds to award scholarships to gifted high school graduates and current CAU students from the DFW area who will attend our beloved Clark Atlanta University.
Since 2011, a small group of local alumni in the Dallas Metroplex have managed to annually contribute toward an earmarked scholarship budget and establish the CAUAA-DFW Scholarship Fund. In 2018, the chapter raised & awarded nearly $2000.00 dollars in book scholarships to students from the Dallas Metroplex.
In 2019, the 'Distinguished' Dallas-Ft Worth Chapter has set a Book Scholarship Fund raising goal of $6,000 by August 15, 2019!
The book scholarship funds will be awarded to multiple high school graduates attending CAU in Fall 2019 & returning students who complete the application process and are selected by committee. The CAUAA-DFW Book Scholarship Fund helps defray student cost for books and educational supplies that can be purchased at the Clatk Atlsnta University Campus Book Store via accounts in the college student's name.
