MLK DAY 2019 (958 hits)

Celebrations take place all over the United States to remember MLK. However, there is a little difference this year; as the presence of the government shut down has caused some services of celebrations to not take place. In spite of some things happening in the US Government, private sectors and businesses have pitched in with grants and funds to keep some places opened. For example in Atlanta the MLK Museum. was aided with a grant to allow its opening today. Many want to still remember the tribute of Dr. King's dream and feel it is a good time along with the holiday to be a reminder to the government the dream is about about people of all races. Just as the shutdown is effecting all races of government workers and their families. . .
HAPPY MLK DAY
