Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants
Title IV, Part A of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)

Webinar Series

Changes to the Title IV, Part A, Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) Grants Resulting from the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2017

The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Public Law 115-31) became law on May 5, 2017 (https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/244…). Provisions in the law made important changes in FY 2017 to the Title IV, Part A Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) Grant program, including, but not limited to, providing State educational agencies with the option of making competitive subgrants to eligible local educational agencies (rather than by formula).

The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Safe and Healthy Students (OSHS), in collaboration with the National Center on Safe Supportive Learning Environments, is pleased to invite you to participate in a webinar about these changes. At the conclusion of the webinar, the speakers will respond to participant questions.
