A LIGHT CONVERSATION OVER VETERAN'S DAY (580 hits)
Greetings!
I hope your Veteran's Day was celebrated well. In my family's history we have well very few Vets. One of my long pass away uncles was a Vet but he never talked about the war much and I vaguely recall a photo my mom had of him dressed in uniform. I don't know if he was proud to fight because he said little to express his adventures of a war. I think he meant to, but maybe felt no one was really listening to hearing him. I too, was younger then and didn't understand wars. I today, still don't understand wars I only feel they conquer very little that a lot love couldn't do. I do have a special place in my heart for Vets living and gone and their families; and I hope they that are still alive enjoyed a day to salute them..... Even in a light conversation like this one.
My uncle would like a light glass of tea with lemon.
