Today's Marriage Prayer - Teach Us the Best Way to Encourage Each Other (1097 hits)
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please teach us the best way to encourage each other. May one be strong when the other is weak, ready with a word of encouragement.
Help us to choose our words wisely and gently administer them.
We pray that our speech would have a positive affect on each other, and add strength to our marriage. We don’t always know the best way to encourage or the right things to say, and so we ask for Your wisdom and strength.
Please shape us as we’re growing each day. Equip us to be an encouraging couple, seasoned with grace and walking in truth.
In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
