Long lines, and hours of waiting caused flights in Chicago's OHare and Midway Airports standing still as passengers were subjected to safety processing. Thousands of passengers had waiting time over four hours and missed their flights as well. The TSA are suggesting that in order to keep flights on time passengers arrive at least 3 hours early. On Sunday, May 15, 2016 hundreds flocked the airports only discovering the security processing detained them. National news of summer travels spread in other airports as the busy season approaches. In Chicago the TSA has plans to hire more inspectors for baggage checks, but most of the new hires may not be available for work until August 2016 according to media reports. Boosting of low fares has passengers chasing the discounted flights and taking advantage of going places. Since the waiting in unavoidable passengers will be in flinging in the lines.
