Wheaton College Professor Larycia Hawkins has decided to accept the agreement to part ways and turn in her resignation. Professor Hawkins was sited as making trouble when she placed a statement of Facebook stating that Christians and Muslims worship the same God. The college took action to have her suspended. Although the college states that wearing the head dressing at an Advent show in December 2015 was not the issue of her being suspended, mostly it was her statement that found disagreement with college officials. Now Hawkins has decided to resign her position at the college and leave. The story of Hawkins did not settle well with many Christians or Muslims in the public, nor the community of the situations involved by her making a statement of having worship. Hawkins was under investigations that could have led to her firing, but a agreement was arranged and she decided to resign.
