Tragic drownings of torrential rains caused deaths of 35 children and 27 adults in the city of Lobito. Heavy flooding has destroyed over 137 homes as the rains begin on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Thousands are left homeless and search officials in Lobito may find the toll of death may grow. Each year torrential rains come, but this year is one of worst downpours in this region. Lobito city is located in the north location of the Bengeula province on the Atlantic. News sources indicated of those perished was from drowing high waters up to 9.8 foot.
