Twenty-three people were killed in a tragic bus accident on Tuesday September 09, 2014 and 32 were injured. The bus was reported as falling over a ravine after the driver lost control. The awful accident happened in the coastal town of Petit-Goave while in route to Jeremie. Fatal accidents like this is known to be common due to overcrowding of riders according to news sources.
