July 25, 2014: In a brief statement in front of parliament the Prime Minister Arsenly Yatsenyuk stated his resignation. Yatsenyuk is a pro-western technocrat is said to be accredited with aiding the ousting of former leader Viktor Yanukovych. In his speech Yatsenyuk declared that his resignation was in connection with the collapsing of government initiatives. He also warned the government of rushed political maneuvering that could paralyzed a smoother government operation. Meanwhile, conflicts with Russia are still unsettled in the Ukraine is required.
