Another Beautiful Black Icon Passes: Ruby Dee (972 hits)
Well the second icon I promoted on the same show has passed. within a few weeks of one another. The glorious and talented Ruby Dee. Met her on Maya Angelou's movie I promoted, "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings". What a talented awesome lady. Her long-time marriage to the late Ozzie Davis, has always been a model and inspiration in my marriage. Rest in peace Ruby…I know Maya is showing you the way.
You two are no longer caged and bound in the human body. Fly free beautiful birds.
