There is nothing to fear but fear itself.
How many of us have heard this quote before?
" As I reviewed some recent events in my life I’ve learned first-hand that this statement is certainly true. I began to realize that my hesitation in many aspects of life stem from deeply rooted fear: "
Fear of being misunderstood. Fear of being used again. Fear of failure. Fear of ridicule. Fear of succeeding, then not knowing how to handle the success.
I could go on and on with this list. I have decided (and this was tough) to turn my back on fear. I am tired of missing out on God’s best plan for me because of my “What if’s”. Even my son said to me, “You always see the negative side to things. It’s not always going to be negative, you know.”
Out of the mouth of babes……
This means that the things I have dreamed about for years are about to become reality for me and my family. Decisions and plans that I had postponed will now become action items. And God will be glorified in the midst of all that I will take on because it won’t be a show. It will be as a result of my submission and obedience to His will and plan for my life.
Are you afraid? Don’t allow fear to rule your life.
Kick fear to the curb and allow God to come in and guide you step by step into your destiny.
Most times we are our own hindering forces.
Let us “Let Go and Let God!!!”
BMWK – are you letting fear prevent you from living your life to the fullest?
