Harlem World Pick: “Mama Africa” By Chico Cesar (video) (348 hits)
The video is from Brazilian singer Chico Cesar’s song “Mama Africa.” We’re not sure what he and the villagers are saying other then a passionate shout out to “Mama Africa.”
Cesar’s approach is unique in the way the video was photographed driving throughout the Brazilian village allowing the local soccer team, marching band and others participated.
Not bad for a winner of a Latin Grammy Award for Best Brazilian Song.
