During the month of November, there is a day to give thanks, two days to get deals on shopping and now there is a day to GIVE BACK. #GivingTuesday is a campaign to create a national day of giving at the start of the annual holiday season. It celebrates and encourages charitable activities that support nonprofit organizations.
On Tuesday, November 27, 2012, remember TMCF. Sponsoring a student is the best way you can help us "Change the World ... One Leader at a Time." The cost to get a quality education is steadily increasing and we need your help to support the nearly 300,000 students that attend public Historically Black Colleges & Universities. Join us as we celebrate our 25th Anniversary year by giving to our 25 for 25 fundraising campaign that will support our ACCESS Scholarship Program. Your #GivingTuesday donation will assist in providing funding to close the financial gap for graduating seniors who have met their coursework requirements, but have an unmet financial need in order to graduate. All donors who support the campaign will receive a special commemorative 25th Anniversary gift for their donation.
