The American Music Awards was viewed and attened by thousands as many watched entertainers in the musicial arena take home the awards. Usher was delighted to be nominated and take home 4 AMA'S for his new albbum. Among Usher's winning were for favorite male artist and favorite pop/rock and R&B albums from his album titled "Confessions" The album has sold 6.6 million copies making also Usher the first artist in 34 years to reach the top of Billboard's Hot 100 singles 4 times in a single year. Backstage Usher commented stating: "Oh man, this is one of the greastest things of my career." "I can't say it's the greatest because there's so much to look forward to but I am very happy with winning every catergory in which I was nominated."
Winners of American Music Awards are selected from a poll of of 20,000 votes from all over the U.S.

Way to Go! He made some record chart history too...first artist in 34 years to reach Billboard's Hot 100 singles 4 times in one year. He must be feeling great....
