Experts Say 2012 Election Is Too Important to Sit Out (602 hits)

by Karla Dial
Tuesday is Election Day — and with the long lines at the polling venues and the nonstop news coverage comes a nearly unprecedented opportunity to shape the nation’s future.

“I’ve heard other commentators say, and I agree completely, that this is the most important election in my lifetime to date, because the future of what our country is going to look like is at stake,” said Col. Ron Crews, executive director of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty. “Are we going to have a nation that says we will honor the value of religious liberty that has been threatened by the current administration? The Virginia race was always one of the closest in the nation and one that both camps said they needed to win in order to succeed in the presidential election.
