Dealing With Fears: Fight or Flight (364 hits)

We can learn a lot from animals that will help us in our own lives. However, there are several things they do when they’re afraid which we tend to copy, and it’s not the best way to handle our fears. We revert back to our prehistoric behaviors and deal with fears the same way animals do in the wild with the fight or flight response to our challenges.

This only serves to make us even more stressed out. Our fears are even magnified. Resisting, avoiding, or running away doesn’t solve anything. Besides, you can’t run from you.
