Buildings shook and cracked sending bricks and roofs crumbling, windows shattered and broke, and fear gripped and shook over Northeastern Iran near Naysgabur as a 5.6 earthquake rattled the land. Reports are still coming in but sources state at least 36 people have been reported injured but more may be reported injured as situations are evaluated. So far no fatalities reported from the quake. Telecommunications have been disrupted including cell phones. The quake happened around 4:05 pm. this evening Iranian time.
