"MY PASSION.....Your FRUIT" (343 hits)

MY PASSION YOUR FRUIT IS MY ALMOST FAREWELL TO THE SUMMER SMOOTHIE.....It's been that way for 10 years,I'd like to share it with my brothers and sisters big or small. All my Love.......Cheryl Smith.


Required: 1 cup fresh pineapple(cube preferred)
1cup of sugar
1cup of water
1and1/3 cups of unsweetened passion fruit juice or puree

Using a food processor combine the pineapple and 2 tablespoons of the sugar and puree until smooth. then place all of this in a bowl make sure to cover bowl.

CHILL(and chill out too) for about 1 hour
In a saucepan set over moderate heat,combine remaining sugar with water, bring to a simmer,stirring,until sugar is dissolved. Transfer to a bowl,let cool and chill,covered, for 1 HOUR. Next----------
Strain pineapple puree through a medium sieve into a bowl and measure out 2/3 cup of the puree. LAST Step:
In a large bowl whisk together the pineapple puree, passion fruit juice,and sugar syrup. Chill,covered, for 3 hours or overnight. Transfer mixture to an ice cream freezer and "FREEZE". (The mixture not You!) --ENJOY-- Cheryl SMITH.
