Reinventing Myself- Knowing what I want (168 hits)
I want to go back and elaborate on the steps that will help you to reinvent or make over those areas in your life that you feel need to change. To reinvent yourself, you must rediscover who you are and revive that true inner nature of your being. It is taking the time to search deep within yourself and pulling out those things that truly make you happy.
The first step to doing that is to know what you want. Ask yourself what will it take to make you truly happy in the next moment, the next month, the next year, the next 5 years, the next 20 years. What is that you want for YOU? It does not matter what anyone else may think or say about it. This is all about reinventing you.
So, is it your lifestyle? Is it your career that is more fulfilling to you (not to mention making more money)? Is it your personality, your character and the way you carry yourself? Is it your relationship (with family, friends, lovers, colleagues, etc). Is it your need to reach out to others and be more helpful? Just think about it for a moment and decide what it is that you really want.
Don't think about all of the obstacles or things that could hinder you if you moved forward with it? Those are only excuses, out of fear. Remember that your life will be EVIDENT of the life you want to live and not of EXCUSES. Most people use excuses in order not to admit to fear or failure. So NO MORE EXCUSES.
