Strong Tower for Stronghold (108 hits)

Today is Friday, so you know what that means: It's time for the Fitness Friday Report including spiritual, soul and physical. Somehow, I missed posting the report for last week. What's done is done, so I wont go back. Moving on.

Anyhoo, there has been so much going on with me spiritually, soulfully and physically, so here's the run down:

Spiritual
I was heading to a place of discouragement, concerning one area of my life. I won't go into the details, but the discouragement was trying to become a stronghold and was throwing everything it could at me. So, you know me, I ran to my Strong Tower where I find refuge (The Lord). That has always and continues to be my first course of action. And what did God do, He had His servant to throw a message right at me at Wednesday night's Bible study. A message on "Don't be discouraged." I got so full and knew that message was just for me.

What's even more interesting is that our pastor said that it was not the lesson that he had prepared for the night and that God had changed it while he was driving to the church. And when God delivered that message, He delivered it with clarity. I could tell that I was not the only one in service who needed to hear that. Then at the end of service, our pastor had everyone to stand up and make a declaration about standing firm in our faith and to not let the stronghold keep us from doing what we were purposed to do. Well, after that, I felt my courage returning because that stronghold was released. My Strong Tower is awesome. WOW!

Soul
I enjoyed my Me-time Tuesday this week. I went to the library, to the gym and then watched a movie. But I didnt watch the movie that I thought I was going to watch. Instead, I enjoyed a movie with my family. They treated me with dinner, then we all enjoyed the movie.

I also re-watched the movie, "Pursuit of Happyness". That movie is so inspiring to me and I felt the need to watch it again. Whenever a book or movie inspires me, I will revisit them over and over again, and get something new from it each time I revisit.

Physical
I have continued with my workout regime, but had to cut back some due to tweaking my leg muscle. So, I have not been doing any 2X/day. Must caution while on this weight-loss journey. But as of today, 4 weeks into the new regime, I have lost 17 lbs. Yayyyyyy!

I'm continuing to work on my eating habits. for some odd reason, I had the overwhelming urge for just chocolate. That's a strange craving for me, because although I like chocolate, I never really crave for it like that. So I satisfied that craving with a Reese's cup.
