I was nominated to receive a Black Essence award (367 hits)

I received the best news of my life today. I was nominated by Karen Pfeifer of the Black Essence Awards, to receive an award. This is truly a blessing.
You see it has been a dream of mines for over twenty years leave on a legacy of LOVE to my family and the world or as many people that I can touch. My first goal was to take care of all of my elders. I cared for my grandmother, father and aunt until they passed away. I treated them like the king and queens they were. I also took care of my mother who has had six strokes and is now paralyzed. I have three grown kids, two have sickle cell disease and one is mentally disabled. I still have time and the LOVE to continual my mission of helping the homeless, cancer survivors, and kids in need of school supplies. Another MISSION i am working on is with the YES program (YOUTH EDUCATIONAL SUPPLIES). We are going to build a school and supplies in south AFRICA with the sell of my RARE dolls. You see the kids there can walk up to ten miles to go to school. When they get to school, they do not have any school supplies. They learn for a teacher with one chalk board. The floors are dirt. These kids still have the drive to learn. Their lunch consist of bread and water.
I live off of $100-$220 dollars a week. I do not eat out of spend extra money. I do put ten to twenty dollars a week and use it to replace stock. I give a lots doll away to uplift and inspire people. (Girls club,disable people. ect...) When I sell a doll I place it back into making dolls, but has given away more than i sell.
After I pray every morning, I go up and down my street and pick up trash in front every one homes. My street was on America most wanted. (Shootings, murder,fighting) I've cleaned and changed my street for the better. It is now
peaceful. (lived in my since 1989).
Now it is time for me to shine and continual my Mission of LOVE. But there is one problem. I do not have the funds for my plane tickets, attire, hotel expense ect...
I am asking for a miracle BLESSING. You see I am like the women in the bible. When GOD asked who gave the most, it was her who gave a penny. That is why all my funds are depleted. Please help in any way you can. It will be appreciated. I am not trying to be the best dressed there; my soul,heart, and spirit will take care of that.
