Ecclesiastes 3:1-8(King James Version of Holy Bible)
1: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
There is a time for everything. The Bible tells us that there is a season and time to every purpose. So, everything has a season of seedtime (the planting, watering and nurturing) before the complete harvest comes. As with any seed planted, you may not see anything right away, because it is working beneath the surface. It is being rooted and grounded in the soil that it was planted in. But hold fast and don’t pluck up what you have planted. Don’t let the weeds of doubt, unbelief, lack and impatience destroy what you have planted. Hold fast to your vision. The bible tells us that you shall reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9). So, remain steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD (1 Corinthians 15:58)
AND DO NOT ALLOW OTHERS TO PLUCK UP THE VISION YOU HAVE PLANTED IN YOUR HEART. We’ll go more into overcoming naysayers in an upcoming post.
Continue to nurture your vision every day, by doing SOMETHIING towards what you want to see manifested. Faith without works is dead (James 2). So make an effort to work towards your vision each and every day if possible. With a vision as large as the one you have, there is much to be done because to whom much is given, much is required.
Over time, you will begin to see signs of manifestation, a sprout here, a bulb there. That is God’s way of showing us that our vision is coming to life and in due season, we shall reap if we faint not. As we are going through the seedtime and harvest phase, God is allowing us to go through a maturation phase as well. We have to grow and mature in the things of God. He cannot give us everything that we envision right now, if we are not in position, or prepared for it because that will literally blow our mind.
If He did give us everything right now, it would be like giving $1,000,000 to your young child and telling them to spend it the way that You want them to spend it, even though it for them and their lives. Of course they will probably be mad, because they want to spend it the way that THEY want to. They would have all kinds of ideas about how they would spend that money and none of it would include what you wanted for them even though you know best what they need because you’re the parent. Well it’s the same with us and God. If He gave us all of our blessings at once, we would spend it on the things that we want and not what He wants us to, even though He is our Father and of course, Father knows best. So plant the seed, water it, nurture it and trust GOD for His perfect timing to bring your vision to harvesttime.
What is your vision seed? What are some of the things you’re doing to water and nurture your seed consistently?
